Associate Sales Representative
About the role
Are you passionate about equipment, enjoy working with customers, and want to build a successful career in sales? We are looking for a motivated Sales Trainee to join our team and develop the skills needed to become a successful Territory Manager.
Responsibilities
- Shadow and assist Territory Managers with customer visits, sales calls, and prospecting activities.
- Participate in equipment demonstrations, customer training, and customer start-up activities.
- Learn equipment operation, applications, features, and benefits to effectively communicate value to customers.
- Absorb and assist with lead follow-up efforts and customer relationship management activities.
- Build proficiency in CRM software by entering customer information, creating quotes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Help prepare sales and trade-in documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Learn to develop weekly and monthly sales plans using CRM tools and sales data.
- Support post-sale follow-up activities to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two years of experience working for an equipment dealer preferred.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and its applications preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL preferred.
