About the role
The Boston Dynamics strategic sales team is looking to hire an Associate Sales Executive to our team. We are seeking a sales professional to develop and maintain a sales pipeline for our cutting edge technology for our Spot Product Line. Every day, you will work closely with customers to identify product and market fit in order to deliver value and grow sales.
Responsibilities
- Build brand awareness and create demand for Boston Dynamics products
- Manage opportunity pipeline from identification through closure
- Analyze customer requirements and applications and recommend appropriate product configurations
- Qualify sales leads by establishing good customer contact via telephone, email, personal contact, on-site visits, trade shows, etc
- Make timely visits to customers/prospects for equipment demonstrations and sales (extensive travel throughout the defined territory is required)
- Plan, coordinate and conduct trade show exhibits, seminars, webinars, and customer training and support (responsibilities may include assistance at trade shows and/or seminars outside of the assigned geographic territory)
- Aid in the development of sales tools including competitive materials, presentations, and other sales resources and assist in the acquisition of sales material
Requirements
- High Integrity, team-first mentality
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field preferred
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex product sales; Experience with complex commercial product sales experience in both in the United States and internationally
- Experience with direct and channel sales, strong relationship building skills, and existing relationships with government contacts
- Excellent written, verbal and public speaking skills
- Strong understanding of procurement procedures with federal and state and local government customers to include existing contract vehicles
- Proven track record selling large contracts to government agencies
- Ability to load, unload, set up equipment weighing 50-70 pounds
- Travel ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of the time
