Responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert for assigned categories on Amazon, delivering insights on Gildan and competitor performance.
- Identify trends in consumer behavior, conversion drivers, and competitive positioning to inform growth strategies.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of item setup and product detail page (PDP) content; proactively identify and resolve listing issues (e.g., suppressions, broken pages, incorrect content) and recommend optimizations to improve conversion and discoverability.
- Support trade and promotional budget management, including tracking, reporting, and performance analysis; partner with leadership and finance to recommend optimized spend based on market dynamics.
- Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, and market data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities; provide actionable recommendations to drive revenue, margin, and efficiency improvements.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to monitor performance and enable faster, data-driven decision-making.
- Frame business problems into analytical approaches and develop solutions that address key challenges and opportunities.
- Partner with teams across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and product to align on priorities and execute strategic initiatives.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations tailored to business stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and analytical capabilities; stay current on eCommerce and Amazon trends to drive innovation.
- Support strategic initiatives and leadership requests through timely, insights-driven analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 1+ years of work experience in a business or quantitative role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI preferred.
- Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central (Seller Central experience a plus).
- Understanding of key eCommerce metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, etc.) and retail math.
- Experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and visualization techniques.
- Ability to align analytical work with business objectives and influence decision-making.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tell a clear story using data.
- Knowledge of retail operations, product lifecycle, and/or supply chain is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to support data analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency is a plus.
