Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert for assigned categories on Amazon, delivering insights on Gildan and competitor performance.
  • Identify trends in consumer behavior, conversion drivers, and competitive positioning to inform growth strategies.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of item setup and product detail page (PDP) content; proactively identify and resolve listing issues (e.g., suppressions, broken pages, incorrect content) and recommend optimizations to improve conversion and discoverability.
  • Support trade and promotional budget management, including tracking, reporting, and performance analysis; partner with leadership and finance to recommend optimized spend based on market dynamics.
  • Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, and market data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities; provide actionable recommendations to drive revenue, margin, and efficiency improvements.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to monitor performance and enable faster, data-driven decision-making.
  • Frame business problems into analytical approaches and develop solutions that address key challenges and opportunities.
  • Partner with teams across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and product to align on priorities and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations tailored to business stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and analytical capabilities; stay current on eCommerce and Amazon trends to drive innovation.
  • Support strategic initiatives and leadership requests through timely, insights-driven analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1+ years of work experience in a business or quantitative role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI preferred.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central (Seller Central experience a plus).
  • Understanding of key eCommerce metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, etc.) and retail math.
  • Experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and visualization techniques.
  • Ability to align analytical work with business objectives and influence decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to tell a clear story using data.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, product lifecycle, and/or supply chain is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to support data analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency is a plus.
