Associate Roving Personal Banker (SAFE)
About the role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Roving Banker Manager for its National Branch Network as part of the Consumer Banking and Lending division. This role involves managing Roving Bankers within an assigned region, reinforcing the behavior framework, supporting tools and other branch initiatives, and ensuring critical staffing coverage for the assigned districts.
This position provides support for various branches within these districts, including High Desert. The Roving Banker Manager is responsible for coaching, developing, and influencing the assigned Roving Banker team to execute business strategies, achieve results, and drive business growth. This includes coaching bankers to engage customers, understand their needs, and build relationships to help customers succeed financially. The manager also acts as a partner to District Managers and branch managers, recognizing trends, gaps, and creating strategic solutions for regions. They assess and leverage all National Branch Network reporting data to inform coaching and recommendations at region, district, and branch levels for improved performance.
The Roving Banker Manager maximizes banker success by ensuring frequent opportunities for skill, knowledge, and acumen development related to the behavior framework and other topics introduced to the National Branch Network. They manage and execute on resource allocation in alignment with strategic goals for optimal National Branch Network performance, including managing staffing requests and scheduling adjustments. They establish strong relationships and partnerships with branch management.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of banking, financial services or branch network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience

- Experience allocating workforce within assigned district to ensure optimal branch coverage
- Adaptable and flexible coaching style which takes into account the needs and learning styles of a diverse team
- Understanding the behavior framework, the management cycle, and how it ties to business growth
- Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments, including affluent, high net worth, and small business
- Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs in order to provide relevant options to customers
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Experience leading implementation strategies on utilization of innovative branch banking tools and contact management systems
- Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance, controls, risk management and loss prevention

- Ability to travel upwards of 50% of the time within assigned geography
