Summary This position is responsible for entry level repairs and service across a wide array of electrical/mechanical equipment. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Technology team. The position follows a in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Atlanta, GA. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Repair, inspect and maintain rental inventory of electric chain hoists, winches, and other electrical/mechanical equipmentRepair, inspect and maintain electric chain hoists as a service for other companies in the entertainment and tradeshow industriesReconfigure chain hoists in rental inventory as required by rental demandCommunicate regularly with Service Manager regarding maintenance concerns, repair parts inventory, and product improvementsInterpret exploded views, electrical data, and wiring diagramsAssist in essential duties and responsibilities as defined in job description for Equipment InspectorAttend production meetings as requiredDesignate tasks to all hoist technicians on a daily basisDetermine daily workflow for all hoist technicians Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree PreferredCertificate of Completion or Degree from accredited college or trade school related to the field of electronics is preferredPreferred 1-2 years of related experience within rigging production and/or warehouse operations Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must maintain a valid state driver's license Various Industry Standard Certifications Preferred (examples Include) CETaETCPISF Travel Requirements Travel up to 25% What We Offer The Freeman Company provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
