Associate Researcher

About the Role

Yardi is looking for a motivated Associate Researcher to join our team and play a key role in gathering valuable property-level insights for our clients. In this hands-on, investigative role, you’ll act as an information specialist—connecting with property professionals, conducting outreach, and using online resources to collect and verify real estate data that fuels our industry-leading platforms. Curiosity, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching market and property data relevant to Yardi’s clients through phone interviews, email outreach, and internet searches.
• Gather, organize, and compile real estate information, updating internal data entry systems and spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Perform external phone interviews and conduct online research to obtain timely and reliable market insights.
• Provide general research support and assistance to the team as needed, maintaining professionalism and strong customer service throughout all interactions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of relevant work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent internet navigation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong data entry and typing skills; 40 WPM or greater.
• Ability to follow direction, instructions, and receive constructive feedback.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to work at a tactical level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in the real estate field (e.g., property management, financial services, real estate appraisal, sales, or construction).
• Call surveys experience.

$24.32 per hour.
