About the role

The selected individual will be responsible for assisting the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) and Producer with client relations and service, sales, and administrative activities of new and existing group benefit accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Aid the CRM in client retention and building relationships with key client personnel.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of client’s business, insurance objectives, and benefit program.
  • Affiliate in the daily management of client accounts including claims questions, administrative issues, client requests and keep CRM informed of status.
  • Prepare meeting /conference call notes to CRM, recapping key discussion points and action items.
  • Create benchmark reports and supplemental sales materials for presentation to clients.
  • Implement and carrier coordination and completion of new business/carrier change application forms and confirmation of carrier enrollment materials.
  • Implement and renewal paperwork for HSA/HRA/FSA/COBRA.
  • Review final employee documents for accuracy.
  • Implement and coordinate value added services offered to client (ThinkHR, Choosewell, etc).
  • Aid in the preparation of communications, benefit guides, open enrollment memos, PowerPoint Presentations and Brainsharks.
  • Perform other responsibilities/duties as assigned or requested by Management.

Qualifications

  • One year experience in employee benefits account management.
  • Life/Health license required within three months of employment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $20.51 to $25.64 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
