Associate-Rehabilitation Clinical Support Senior

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversight of patient flow from point of entry to destination
• Ensuring timely, accurate, and professional services
• Timely and accurate resolution of patients’ accounts
• Obtaining specific information to generate accurate financial and demographic records
• Insurance verification, prior authorization, and coordination of benefits
• Communicating with payers and patients to achieve accurate financial information
• Accurate registration of patients
• Scheduling recurring appointments
• Answering incoming calls and directing patient and visitors appropriately
• Participating in operational aspects of the department
• Maintaining performance improvement activities as required
• Participating in infection control, department equipment training, regulatory compliance, organizational safety, and fire safety programs
• Ordering, distributing, and maintaining designated and appropriate inventory of department-related supplies

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Two years’ experience in Rehabilitation Services or similar job duties (patient registration, insurance, scheduling)
• The ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS)
• High level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• The ability to take initiative and meet objectives
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• An excellent working knowledge of the Associate of Clinical Support Job Duties

Work Location: **Remote but need to be located in Indiana**
