Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for all third-party distributors within the assigned territory to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Maintain strong relationships and provide ongoing guidance to third-party distributors, while continuously qualifying new prospects.
  • Identify and position the financial products that best align with the needs and business models of potential advisor clients.
  • Profile and qualify advisors to uncover new business opportunities and develop tailored investment strategies.
  • Leverage deep product knowledge to communicate the firm’s investment philosophy, process, objectives, and positioning.
  • Contribute to the development of sales tools and marketing collateral, while delivering product education and training to both internal teams and external audiences.
  • Build and sustain productive relationships with producers and prospects through regular phone outreach, webinars, and in-person meetings.
  • Partner with external wholesaler to coordinate and schedule supplemental meetings with financial advisors.
  • Meet the meeting and call activity standards set for the Associate Regional Director position as established by the Manager of Internal Sales.
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory guidelines, including the proper use of pre-approved marketing materials, fund prospectus requirements, and appropriate licensing.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities in a timely manner, including CRM and call reporting, expense submissions, and participation in meetings and conference calls.
  • Deliver professional and impactful presentations at branch meetings and client events.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above required in a 4.0 scale.
  • 3-5 years of internal or external wholesaling experience in the mutual fund or equivalent industry training and experience, hybrid experience preferred.

Skills

  • Experience with CRM system is required, Salesforce preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mutual fund/financial industry products and services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Pay

$105,000 base salary plus commissions and discretionary bonus per performance.

Schedule

The position includes proactive engagement via phone, webex, and field travel for in-person meetings to drive sales and deepen client relationships. Periodic travel within the assigned region, averaging between one quarter to one third of the time, is required to meet with third-party distributors and further business development objectives.
