About the role

Lilly's Manufacturing & Quality organization is one of the fastest-growing functions in the company, and this role sits at the center of that growth. As an Associate Recruiter supporting M&Q, you won't just be filling roles. You'll be building the teams behind some of the most important scientific and manufacturing work in the pharmaceutical industry, directly contributing to Lilly's ability to bring life-changing medicines to patients around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep relationships with hiring managers and business leaders — understand their teams, their goals, and what makes someone truly successful in their organization
  • Translate business strategy into talent strategy, designing recruitment approaches that are tailored to each team's unique needs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process — guiding decisions, managing expectations, and navigating complexity with confidence
  • Engage and influence leaders at all levels, representing Talent Acquisition with credibility and clarity
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for a portfolio of Manufacturing & Quality roles — from intake through offer acceptance
  • Develop and execute proactive, creative sourcing strategies that go beyond job postings to find the specialized talent M&Q needs
  • Present highly qualified, thoughtfully curated candidate slates that reflect a genuine understanding of role requirements
  • Lead offer negotiations and closing conversations with skill and precision
  • Deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for every candidate and hiring manager you partner with
  • Track and communicate key recruiting metrics — pipeline health, time to fill, offer acceptance — with clarity and confidence
  • Use market intelligence and competitive data to inform sourcing strategies and provide guidance on talent availability and compensation
  • Proactively identify patterns and gaps in the talent pipeline, and bring forward solutions before problems surface
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment practices based on data and outcomes
  • Champion the Candidate & Lilly's Brand — represent Lilly's mission, values, and employer brand with authenticity and passion at every touchpoint
  • Coach hiring managers on best practices in attraction, interviewing, and selection to elevate the quality of every hire
  • Partner across HR, legal, compliance, relocation, and immigration teams to remove barriers and move with agility

Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting and/or talent sourcing
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing or a highly regulated environment
  • Data-driven mentality — you know how to use metrics to tell a story and influence stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and genuine curiosity about the functions you support
  • Showed ability to build trust with senior leaders and operate independently in ambiguous situations
  • Proactive, solutions-first approach — you identify gaps and bring ideas, not just problems
  • Superb communication skills, both in crafting compelling outreach and navigating complex conversations
  • Collaborative spirit with a track record of sharing insights, lifting teammates, and winning together

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
