Associate - Real Estate

Baker Hostetler is seeking a mid-level associate (4-7 years of experience) to join its Real Estate team in the Business Group. The candidate will join our team of more than 50 attorneys in a multidisciplinary real estate practice representing lenders and borrowers in all types of commercial real estate transactions, including complex, high-stakes projects around the country. Qualifications Include Experience in real estate finance; lender-side is a plus, but not required Experience in real estate transactions including structuring joint ventures, purchase and sale agreements, and management agreements Familiarity with leasing is a plus, but not required Am Law 50 experience A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school Must be admitted to practice law in the state of California Successful Candidates Will Have Demonstrated Ability to take the lead on deals and interface with clients Exceptional project management skills Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment Why Baker Hostetler? The expected annual salary range for this position is $285,000 - $370,000. The salary offered in any location will be determined by a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, geographic region, and relevant skills. Associates also participate in a performance- and hours-based bonus program.
