Associate, QC Microbiology, Cell Therapy (Wed-Saturday 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m Shift)

Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing of in-process, final product, and stability samples.
- Conduct environmental/facilities monitoring and microbiological testing.
- Review GMP documentation and perform data verification (as needed).
- Support document revision, projects, CAPA, deviation/investigation tasks, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Train analysts on general job duties (as needed).
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to accurately follow procedures and apply scientific principles to QC testing.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with peers and management.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in science preferred; associate degree with equivalent experience may be considered.
- 0–2+ years of relevant microbiological testing or QC experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
- Experience with basic laboratory techniques, safety practices, and microbiological techniques (preferred).
Job Safety & Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (9 kg) at floor/waist height and 10 lbs (4.5 kg) overhead.
- Frequent pipetting and extended seated work in a biological safety cabinet.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for prolonged periods (e.g., lab coat, gloves, safety glasses).
- Safe handling of chemical disinfectants, flammable materials, hazardous chemicals, dry ice, liquid nitrogen, and cryogenic materials.
- Ability to use step stools for reaching materials.
- Work in a Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) environment, adhering to EHSS safety procedures.
Schedule
Wednesday–Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Pay
Starting compensation range: $36.90–$44.71 per hour (full-time). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. Final pay determined by demonstrated experience.
