Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and organized professional to support the successful delivery of cross-functional business and technology initiatives in a US-based remote capacity, with workdays beginning at 8:00 AM ET. This role will primarily support senior project managers on large, complex projects while also independently leading smaller projects from planning through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support senior project managers in the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of large, cross-functional projects while independently managing smaller projects from initiation through closeout.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, identify key deliverables, and document project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, timelines, RAID logs, and status reporting using established project management tools and templates.
- Cook up cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, business stakeholders, vendors, and other project participants to ensure timely execution.
- Create, refine, and manage user stories, supporting backlog refinement and prioritization activities as needed.
- Facilitate or actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and product demonstrations.
- Cook up testing activities by developing test plans, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), documenting feedback, and tracking defect resolution.
- Proactively identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers, driving resolution or escalating appropriately.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with approved scope, timelines, and business objectives.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including meeting notes, decision logs, action items, status updates, and project artifacts.
- Support intake and triage activities for incoming project requests and assist with work prioritization and coordination across delivery teams.
- Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and key decisions clearly and professionally to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.

- Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence interacting with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships, facilitate discussions, and drive alignment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a project team.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.
- Experience using Salesforce or other enterprise technology initiatives is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Experience 1+ years of hands-on project management or project coordination experience leading or supporting business and/or technology projects is required.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project schedules, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery environments.
- Experience creating project documentation, facilitating meetings, and tracking project progress.
- PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, Agile certification, or other project management certifications are a plus but are not required.
