Associate, Project Finance

About the role

The Project Finance Group at AES Corporation is seeking an Associate to join our dynamic team. AES is a global leader in the power industry, known for its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Financial modeling of debt and tax equity
• Assisting deal teams in satisfying conditions precedent to financial closings
• Supporting the manager through all stages of the capital raising process

Desired Experience and Skills

• 4+ years of experience in project finance, investment banking, M&A, or similar position, with preference given to renewable-specific and/or transaction-focused experience
• Experience working in complex financial models
• Diligent and detail-oriented; ability to deliver consistent accuracy in complex modeling exercises
• Excellent verbal and communication skills; ability to concisely communicate results to internal and external counterparts
• Extensive knowledge and capabilities to work in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Education

A undergraduate degree is required.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $113,000 and $141,525/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

The position is expected to be full-time.
