About the role

The Associate Project Coordinator supports Primex brand projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring projects stay on track, within budget, and aligned with quality standards and customer expectations. Key responsibilities include coordinating project details, managing timelines, communicating updates, and maintaining alignment with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Supports project team from kickoff through closeout
  • Helps projects stay on track, on budget, and aligned with quality standards and customer expectations
  • Coordinates plans, manages project details, communicates updates, and keeps internal and external partners aligned throughout the project lifecycle
  • Works closely with customers, project managers, leadership, and internal teams to help move projects forward
  • Builds customer relationships, establishes and manages expectations, prepares meeting agendas, records meeting notes, and provides weekly or monthly project updates
  • Assists with reviewing project scope and schedules, identifying potential risks, tracking progress, and supporting issue resolution
  • Cross-functions with engineering, procurement, production, testing, programming, field service, finance, and accounts receivable teams to coordinate work and ensure project activities are moving forward
  • Supports project documentation and reporting, including Schedule of Values, RFIs, change orders, payment applications, invoices, and other project-related updates
  • Supports project budgeting, cost forecasting, cash flow activities, and Accounts Receivable follow-up on late payments when needed

Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with customers, internal teams, and external partners
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Comfortable preparing agendas, recording meeting notes, and providing weekly or monthly project updates
  • Comfortable supporting documentation and reporting, including schedules of values, RFIs, change orders, payment applications, invoices, and project status updates
  • Positive, team-focused approach with a willingness to support company goals and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills, Education, And Experience

  • One to two years of prior experience in project coordination, customer service or sales support
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Communications, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
