Responsibilities
- Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards.
- Monitor the program through frequent observation and evaluation.
- Develop proactive plans of action for every area of service.
- Coordinate and facilitate budget management.
- Provide timely feedback and support to personnel.
- Manage personnel work schedules.
- Review and maintain staff documentation.
- Review and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory training requirements.
- Adapt schedules to meet changing workloads and needs.
- Organize and manage time and resources to ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Supervise and facilitate child assessments and admission processes.
- Respond to outside requests for information regarding children.
- Provide and/or supervise crisis interventions involving children and/or families.
- Maintain facility video for compliance with action plans and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions.
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Implement safety protocols during emergencies.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.
- Comply with Compass Connections professional and ethical standards.
- Facilitate and/or supervise programming, treatment, and discharge of children’s placement and release.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation.
- Frequent transversal of the facility including interior and exterior areas.
- Meet predetermined deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Foster Care Programs - Support, encourage, and recruit foster parents.
Requirements
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
- Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
- Demonstrate the ability to respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s characteristics.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers, and professionals.
- Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure.
- Maintain computer literacy required for the position.
- Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
