The University of Miami Department of Interventional Radiology seeks an Associate Professor of Clinical.

Responsibilities

• Interpret interventional radiology imaging studies and perform interventional procedures.
• Absorb and implement new and innovative interventional procedures.
• Evaluate patients both pre and post intervention and expand outpatient clinics for interventional procedures.
• Supervise technical personnel and evaluate new referrals.
• Follow up patients in IR clinic and exercise quality assurance.
• Provide interventional imaging consultation as needed.
• Assume emergency patient care responsibilities.
• Participate in the on-call schedule for Interventional Radiology.
• Assume administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Chairman.
• Teach in residency/fellowship training programs, medical student education, technological radiology educational programs, and continuing medical education programs.
• Engage in research activities as an investigator and mentor.

Qualifications

• M.D. from an accredited medical school (or foreign equivalent).
• American Board of Radiology Certification from an approved fellowship program in Vascular Interventional.
