About the role
The Department of Neurosurgery and the Huntsman Cancer Institute are seeking an exceptional candidate for a tenure-track Neuro-Oncology Faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The role is based at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, an NCI‑Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center serving the Intermountain West.
Department: 00268 - Neurosurgery • City Track: Tenure Track • Position open until filled.
Responsibilities
- Clinical management of patients with primary brain tumors, metastatic disease, and neurologic effects of cancer on the central nervous system.
- Teaching of fellows, residents, and students.
- Development of clinical and translational research interests within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary Neuro‑Oncology program.
- Participation in numerous open clinical trials and brain‑tumor cooperative groups and consortiums (NRG, Alliance, BTTTC, Ivy Early Trial Consortium).
Qualifications
- Appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on a tenure‑track.

- Experience working in settings with students and a strong commitment to improving access to higher education.
