About the role

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Rehabilitation Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating various conditions requiring rehabilitation
  • Familiarity with an electronic medical record is desirable
  • Teaching responsibilities may include rotating medical students, residents and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department
  • Encouraged participation in regional, national and international meetings
  • May include Pediatric Rehabilitation Outpatient clinic and inpatient consultations in acute care setting as well as attending on the inpatient rehabilitation unit and sharing in on-call coverage
  • Opportunity to participate in patient-oriented research

Requirements

  • Must have an M.D. or equivalent degree
  • Must be Board-certified in Pediatric Rehabilitation
  • Documented meritorious academic service on the faculty of a peer medical school and be recognized for contributions in a designated Area of Concentration
