Job description

Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production demands and directs material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of raw and approved finished goods materials timed to meet production requirements. Converts engineering drawings into work instructions and bills of material driving procurement, shop fabrication, assembly and HDL installation.

Essential functions

  • Develop and implement manufacturing build plans to meet customer contractual delivery schedules
  • Utilize Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system to input Master Schedule build plans, track material availability, status, kit readiness, release shop orders, and maintain all shop order records and inventory integrity
  • Update and maintain make items lead times within MRP system
  • Manage floor stock of program components
  • Work jointly with Manufacturing and Quality teams to execute build schedule and address any issues in a timely manner
  • Work with Materials Planners to proactively manage the schedule and material dock dates to ensure accuracy of plannin
  • Provide hardware status, updates and performance statistics to program team based on status of hardware through Manufacturing Execution System

Qualifications

To be eligible, candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Schedule

9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off.
