About the role

As the Associate Product Manager for Industrial Enclosures, you will perform market research on new products, establish timelines for product development, influence pricing and packaging, guide sales teams, and develop messaging and market positioning. You will articulate outbound tasks to explain product feature benefits and translate them into customer-facing messaging. You will also establish and drive the Industrial Enclosure product direction by developing, maintaining, and owning the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market analysis: identify trends in the IA enclosure market, understand customer needs, and analyze competitor offerings to define product strategy.
  • Develop the product roadmap: define the vision and roadmap for new IA enclosure products, including features, functionalities, and timelines for development and launch.
  • Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to design and develop new cooling solutions, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with market requirements.
  • Set pricing strategy based on market analysis and product value proposition, and define the product's positioning within the competitive landscape.
  • Support marketing and sales teams by creating messaging and materials for product launches and sales campaigns, and provide product expertise to sales teams.
  • Manage customer feedback: gather and analyze usage data to identify areas for product improvement.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for IA enclosure products as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Sciences in Engineering, Business, or Marketing.
  • 3+ years of related work experience, preferably in Industrial Automation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
  • SAP knowledge/experience is a plus.
