Associate Product Manager
About the role
Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking an Associate Product Manager in Moon Township, PA. Relocation assistance is provided to eligible candidates currently residing in the U.S. The Associate Product Manager will help formulate and implement product line strategy, including New Product Development (NPD), Customer Service, and Product Line Support for the Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) Product Line. This includes coordination between Engineering, North American Sales, Marketing Communications, and Production/Operations. The role supports the product line’s customers (Machinery and Electrical OEMs) and will work closely with other Eaton product line teams to drive solutions and innovation to Eaton’s end customers. The Associate Product Manager will have a strong understanding of core and emerging vertical market segments and practical experience selling new and emerging technologies into them.
Responsibilities
- Provide product application knowledge, interface with customers, and develop and execute tactical and strategic plans to support the product line's goals.
- Utilize knowledge of product to generate customer and technical presentations.
- Perform ad hoc data mining and analysis to support business decisions and investments.
- Support new product development, strategic direction planning for the product line, and implementation of new product and services launch plans.
- Lead cross-functional coordination on product line programs to optimize customer service and market penetration.
- Develop and implement growth plans, provide sales support, and conduct competition/market analysis to drive product development efforts.
- Create marketing collateral to educate and inform sales and customers of solutions Eaton has to offer relative to Air Circuit Breakers.
- Ideate and execute creative training programs along with marketing collateral to enhance market penetration goals.
- Create, configure, and maintain Product Data Hub, BidManager, SAP, and Vista for new and existing products, and set up new products in these systems.
- Candidate needs to have a working knowledge of the overall sales function, customer channels, and negotiation techniques and must be able to manage division, customer and departmental resources to maximize growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in marketing, sales, or engineering.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in providing sales/field support and customer/industry presentations.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in marketing, sales, or engineering.
- Experience working with product configuration tools (e.g., Bid Manager take-offs).
- Demonstrated ability to develop, launch, and market product solutions.

Pay
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 – $143,000. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
