About the Role

TelevisaUnivision Network News is seeking an Associate Producer with strong news judgment and production skills to thrive in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Create banners for daily news segments in the morning show
• Produce graphics and augmented reality (AR) elements
• Develop news briefs
• Write scripts
• Assist line producers, writers, editors, and anchors with rundowns
• Respond quickly during breaking news situations
• Adapt to scheduling changes with flexibility

Requirements

• Able to work the early shift and maintain a flexible schedule
• Capable of working under pressure and reacting quickly during breaking news
• Strong journalistic skills in news gathering
• Experience with social media platforms
• Effective news writing for all platforms
• Excellent Spanish grammar
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Communications
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in iNews, Viz, and VME
• Fully bilingual (written and spoken Spanish and English)

Training will be provided across different shifts, including morning, evening, and weekend shows.
