About the role
As a Financial Services Associate (Business Development Track), you'll play a key role in driving business growth by developing professional relationships, identifying client needs, and supporting financial professionals in delivering solutions that help individuals and businesses achieve their goals. Through comprehensive training, mentorship, and hands-on experience, you'll build the foundation for a successful career in business development and financial services.
This is a full-time role based in New Castle, PA (Training Program) with a future territory assignment. Travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Deliver presentations to professional organizations, businesses, and prospective clients.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand your professional network.
- Partner with senior financial professionals to develop and strengthen client relationships.
- Gain expertise in financial services, insurance products, and client engagement strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities and manage an active sales pipeline.
- Follow up on leads and opportunities to support ongoing business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to relocate following the training period.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly.
- Life & Health and/or Property & Casualty insurance licenses, or the ability to obtain them.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sales, business development, customer service, or client-facing experience.
- Experience presenting to groups, organizations, or professional audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership, networking, or community involvement.
