About the role

We are seeking an Associate Producer to join our Affinity team at Marsh to help grow and deepen relationships with the P&C Franchise Business Segment. This role can be based out of one of our Marsh US locations and is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a prospect list with the ability to prioritize lead and contact cycles.
  • Maintain a sales funnel with the ability to move prospects close.
  • Be comfortable with cold calling warm leads and prospects.
  • Have the ability to network remotely and use platforms such as Zoom and Teams for remote conversations with clients around the country.
  • Grow and develop your personal "brand" and be a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Build an internal relationship with other sales professionals to leverage best practices and techniques in selling to franchise owners.
  • Be an eager learner in all aspects of sales techniques to new insurance products and changing business conditions.

Requirements

  • Property & Casualty license - REQUIRED
  • A consultative sales approach.
  • Experience with cold calling or direct client reach out.
  • 2 - 3 Years of experience on commercial insurance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Commercial, Small Business and/or Franchise insurance sales.
  • Knowledge of our sales experience focused on small business and or franchise clients.
  • An unstoppable drive for success.
  • Proven history of meeting and/or exceeding sales goals and targets.

Benefits

The anticipated hiring range for this opportunity is $75,000 to $80,000 base salary, in addition to eligibility for an uncapped sales bonus.

Pay

The applicable base salary range for this role is $70,300 to $149,700. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Schedule

All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
