About the role
We are seeking a motivated, creatively driven, and highly organized Associate Producer, Comedy & Entertainment Programming. The ideal candidate is passionate about stand-up, pop culture, and emerging comedic voices, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative media environment.
Responsibilities
- Support daily production of live and pre-recorded comedy programming.
- Aid in booking comedians, writers, and guests, coordinating schedules and preparing show materials.
- Research trending topics, viral moments, and cultural conversations to inform show segments.
- Develop segment ideas, write outlines, prep notes, and assist hosts with show preparation.
- Edit audio content using digital audio workstations (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Zetta).
- Prepare and publish show clips for on-demand, social, and digital platforms in collaboration with marketing teams.
- Cookordinate with talent, agents, and internal departments to ensure smooth production workflows.
- Maintain production calendars, rundowns, and show archives.

- Monitor live broadcasts and troubleshoot production issues in real time.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be a recent graduate from an accredited HBCU (Within the last 2 years, or expected to graduate by June 2026)
- Experience in radio, podcast, or audio production preferred, including internships and college radio
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong interest and knowledge of current events and pop culture
- Audio editing experience (e.g., Adobe Audition, ProTools) is a plus
- Impeccable attention to detail in all areas of work
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to run a live studio board a plus

Pay
The base salary for this position is in the range of $51,200 to $54,650 and this will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
