Associate Principal Landscape Architect
About the role
We're looking for an Associate Principal Landscape Architect who can contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that enhance community well-being. You'll be part of a team solving complex design challenges with creativity, curiosity, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site analysis, site planning, vehicular and pedestrian circulation, site grading, storm drainage design, and landscape design
- Serve as the primary contact to clients, consultants, and public agencies on all assigned projects
- Cook with other disciplines, write and edit site and landscape specifications, and select landscape and pavement materials
- Provide construction administration as needed
- Prepare marketing materials for obtaining work from internal and external clients
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years experience
- Professional registration
- Experience with large-scale master planning
- SketchUp experience preferred
- AutoCAD and Photoshop experience required
- Extensive experience in all phases of landscape architectural projects and their management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and working in a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED
