Associate, Pricing & Commercial Operations

About the role

Verkada's Pricing & Commercial Operations team is seeking an Associate to join the growing team. This role partners with Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, and Product to develop and execute pricing strategies and ensure efficient deal execution. The role also supports the development and scaling of the Deal Desk to accelerate revenue growth.

What You'll Do

• Balance revenue vs. margin goals for the company across multiple products, channels, segments, and geographies
• Develop scalable processes and high-performance teams to manage various deal types, from multi-million dollar deals with global companies to small/midsize deals
• Ensure global sales teams can move quickly and customize solutions for customers and partners
• Review discount approval requests and analyze competitive dynamics on a deal-by-deal basis to maximize gross margin
• Grow total revenue by monitoring and enhancing sales incentive programs
• Drive independent projects to identify and implement revenue/margin opportunities, then build and scale them

What You Bring

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business-oriented function
• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or similar quantitative field
• Strong quantitative capabilities and ability to engage at both portfolio and deal levels
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into data
• Ability to collaborate with and influence Sales, Product Management, and Executive teams
• Experience selling or pricing enterprise products is a plus
• Experience using agentic AI coding assistants to automate business processes or create internal tools is a plus

• The estimated annual pay range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000 USD.
