Associate Press Operator – Weekend

Responsibilities
- Operate automatic stamping presses as needed to support department and company goals.
- Use powered hand tools to make adjustments to equipment as necessary.
- Communicate with department leadership regarding issues and improvements.
- Absorb other associates with press set-ups and changeovers.
- Perform quality inspections to blueprints and specifications using provided precision measuring tools and maintain a clean work environment to meet 6S standards.
- Count, package and palletize finished product in accordance with work orders.
- Absorb auxiliary equipment is operating to standard.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- 1 year Related experience and/or training preferred.
- Safety: Able to consistently prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and by promoting a safe work environment.
- Accountability & Dependability: Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.
- Physical Demands: Able to remain standing the entire duration of shift, and lift up to 40 lbs using proper technique consistently.
- Mathematical Reasoning: Able to apply basic math skills.
- Instruction Comprehension: Able to comprehend a variety of instructions furnished in English, including written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Communication: Able to communicate one-on-one and in small group settings.
- Measurements: Able to read a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance, to use protractor to measure angles to +/- 1 degree and ability to use and read a micrometer, and caliper.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify options for solving a problem encountered during the manufacturing process.
- Computer Skills: Able to use computer or touchscreen to perform daily tasks and required training.

Pay
$16.44 - $24.66 / hour + $3.50 shift differential
Schedule
This position will follow the weekend shift schedule, Thursday 6:00 am – 10:00 am and Friday – Sunday 6:00 am – 6:30 pm. Overtime, including additional days, may be required based upon business need.
