Associate, Portfolio Strategy

About the role

Pacific Urban Investors is seeking an Associate, Portfolio Strategy to join its Portfolio Management team in Los Angeles. This role is designed for a highly analytical professional who wants to build a career in institutional portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, recapitalizations, and other portfolio capital allocation decisions.
• Support portfolio construction, capital allocation, and strategic investment decisions.
• Analyze hold/sell recommendations and provide strategic insights to senior investment leaders.
• Collaborate with leaders across Asset Management, Acquisitions, Finance, and Research teams to support strategic decision-making throughout the investment lifecycle.

Requirements

• 4 Year Degree
• Strong analytical skills and experience in financial analysis
• Experience in real estate investment or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of real estate investment principles and practices
• Experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial software

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with real estate investment strategies and portfolio management

Benefits
