Associate Physician
The University of California, Irvine (UCI) Department of Emergency Medicine seeks a Staff Physician to provide services at the Emergency Department at UCI Health-Orange.
About the role
The Staff Physician will primarily provide services at the Emergency Department at UCI Health-Orange. They will also provide both patient care and resident attending coverage when residents are present. The Staff Physician is expected to comply with all compliance standards, complete all required trainings, and follow proper documentation processes to meet the standards of the Compliance Office and Medicare regulations.
Required
- Ability to obtain UCI medical staff privileges
- California Medical License/California Medical License eligibility
- An active and current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
