Role
The Associate Photographer role supports marketing efforts on CoStar’s industry-leading marketplaces, Homes.com and Apartments.com, by capturing beautiful 3-D virtual tours and floor plans. This role involves scanning homes and apartments with a Pro 3 Matterport camera, creating virtual tours and floor plans, and taking residential photography for marketing purposes.
Responsibilities
- Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3-D virtual tours and floor plans.
- Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to capture spaces in the most pleasing way possible.
- Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
- Professionally communicate with clients, sales associates, logistics, and the management team to strategize priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
- Own the market! Navigate one-mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage, identifying new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed.
- Absorb CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicles and equipment.
- Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.
- Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience in real estate photography.
- Experience working as a professional photographer, or a recently earned degree in photography.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Strong customer service experience with a client-first mindset.
- Experience as an experienced Drone Photographer with a FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
- Strong time management skills and very detailed-oriented.
- Capability to accurately capture and enter data.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
- Apple IOS products.
- Enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Field experience preferred.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
Physical Requirements
- Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
- Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
- Repetitive hand and arm movements needed to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.
- Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying necessary to perform job functions.
- Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons.
- The ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
Compensation
This position offers an hourly wage equivalent to $49,000-$50,000 annually, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
