Associate Photographer - Chattanooga, TN

About the role

Associate Photographers are responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with a Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment, and an iPad, you will create virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential homes. Each Associate Photographer is assigned a core territory to service clients, with appointments scheduled for defined dates and times. This role involves close collaboration with clients, sales associates, logistics, and management teams, and is managed remotely by a Photography Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3-D virtual tours and floorplans.
• Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments using professional photography techniques.
• Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
• Professionally communicate with clients, sales, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks.
• Navigate one-mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage when not working on residential properties. Identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to photograph.
• Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicles and equipment.
• Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
• Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
• Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
• Repetitive hand and arm movements for typing on a tablet or laptop and operating camera equipment.
• Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying.
• Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons.
• Ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• Track record of commitment to prior employers.
• Real Estate Photography experience required.
• Experience working as a professional photographer or a recently earned degree in photography.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Strong customer service experience with a client-first mindset.
• Experience as a Drone Photographer with a FAA Part 107 License/Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of offer).
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to accurately capture and enter data.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet applications, and Apple iOS products.
• Enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Field experience preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start, reflecting responsible driving behavior.

Pay

Base Compensation: $49,000 - $50,000 (Hourly).
