Associate Pharmacy Technician - Part-Time Variable

About the role

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I fills and dispenses oral and IV medications, trims patient orders, and maintains the integrity of the automated dispensing system.

Responsibilities

• Fills and dispenses unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other departments.
• Triage patient orders and ensure accuracy in medication administration.
• Maintain the automated dispensing system (ADM).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• OR Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire.
• Or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
• Inpatient experience.
• Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).
