This role follows a hybrid model, based out of our New York City office with three days on-site and two days of remote flexibility.
About The Role
Success Academy is seeking a People Operations Associate to join our HR Team, reporting to the Lead, People Operations. This role plays a key part in supporting the employee lifecycle and ensuring an excellent employee experience through efficient execution of administrative tasks and HR processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the team’s success in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on consistent professional communication, quick responsiveness, independence, and exceptional teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries via the ticketing system, triaging requests to appropriate teams or providing accurate responses using templates, policies, and your knowledge base.
- Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including pre-employment processes (e.g., background checks, fingerprinting), onboarding logistics (e.g., catering, attendance tracking), and internal mobility (e.g., HRIS updates for transfers, title changes, or compensation adjustments).
- Assist with maintaining and updating the Workday HCM system, ensuring accuracy and consistency in employee data.
- Assist with data entry for annual HR processes such as promotions, school transfers, and compensation reviews.
- Support in the preparation of reports for various organizational needs and assist with compliance-related documentation.
- Provide clear and helpful information to managers and staff regarding HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of onboarding activities and HR-related events.
- Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information with the highest level of integrity.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or customer service role in HR or a similar field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral), with a focus on providing a positive employee experience.
- Extraordinarily high standards for the quality of work and a reflex to improve at every turn.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Experience with any of the following systems is a plus: Workday HCM, ServiceNow, Dado.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and care.
- Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to new systems and technologies.

Pay
Compensation Range: $75,000—$83,000 USD. This position is not bonus eligible.
Schedule
Hybrid model: three days on-site in the New York City office and two days remote.
