The Opportunity
We're looking for a sales professional to support CoinDesk's Global Partnerships team throughout the entire deal lifecycle as well as generate new business leads. In this role, you will help the team drive revenue and achieve business goals by being proactive and maximizing efficiency to deliver results.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Partnerships team throughout the full deal lifecycle to help drive business development initiatives.
- Communicate with clients directly to facilitate responses to outstanding questions and move negotiations forward.
- Create lead generation opportunities for the Partnerships team by connecting with targeted accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
- Assess the competitive environment and identify and pursue new business targets.
- Aid the Partnerships and Digital & Event Operations teams with client communication, executing agreements, maintaining deals, reporting, and advancing deal progress internally.
- Track revenue and manage digital media and events inventory.
- Share insights with teammates generated from competitive research and stay informed on industry trends as well as market movements.
- Maintain data integrity in Salesforce and other reporting systems for all sales activity and pipeline metrics.
Requirements
- Strong relationship building skills with an ability to collaborate with a global team.
- Bonus points for prior experience in a client-facing sales role.
- Desire to learn about media & events products and client landscape through self-guided learning and knowledge sharing from teammates.
- Knowledge and passion for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
- Ability to demonstrate ownership of your role through self-accountability and effective communication.
- You are results-oriented and strive to help the team exceed revenue targets.
- Intrinsically motivated to be a high performer who helps teams maximize efficiency through output and solutions-oriented problem solving.
- Excellent organizational skills - you can keep yourself as well as others organized and on track to deliver against objectives.
- Experience using Excel, Powerpoint, Slack, AI, G Suite, LinkedIn. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRMs is plus.
Pay
The anticipated base salary for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentives/benefits. Offered salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience.
Schedule
This position requires working onsite at our NYC Office a minimum of 4 days per week.
