Associate Packaging Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Generates new business and further develops existing accounts.
• Develops sales plans to grow sales and profitability within accounts.
• Networks, cold calls, researches various directories and internet sites to generate new leads.
• Prepares customized quotes and understands complex customer requirements.
• Negotiates pricing and value-added services based on quoting configurations.
• Makes manufacturing decisions on orders related to scheduling, shipping, and design.
• Prepares periodic reports for management, identifying successful sales activities, sales trends, special account information, and required follow-up actions.
• Tracks market trends and develops competitive insights to share with the business unit.
• Manages orders to ensure timely processing, quality of products, timely invoice payments, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Experience in sales and customer service preferred.
• Ability to understand and prepare complex customer requirements for quotes.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to make manufacturing decisions.
• Effective report preparation and trend analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
