Associate Packaging Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Generates new business and further develops existing accounts.
• Develops sales plans to grow sales and profitability within accounts.
• Networks, cold calls, researches various directories and internet sites to generate new leads.
• Prepares customized quotes and negotiates pricing and value-added services based on configurations.
• Makes manufacturing decisions on orders related to scheduling, shipping, and design.
• Prepares periodic reports for management, identifying successful sales activities, sales trends, special account information, and required follow-up actions.
• Tracks market trends and develops competitive insights to share with the business unit.
• Manages orders to ensure timely processing, quality of products, timely payment of invoices, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Understands complex customer requirements for customized quoting.
• Independent negotiation of pricing and value-added services based on quoting configurations.
• Decision-making on manufacturing aspects of orders such as scheduling, shipping, and design.
• Creation and maintenance of accurate and timely reports for management.
• Analysis of market trends and competitive insights.
• Order management to ensure timely delivery, quality, payment, and customer satisfaction.

Benefits

• Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 to start with uncapped commission. Transition to 100% uncapped commission.
