Associate Orthodontist 4 days week

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patients to assess orthodontic needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Diagnose and treat misaligned teeth and jaws using braces, clear aligners, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances
• Take and analyze dental impressions, X-rays, photographs, and digital scans
• Adjust, repair, and remove orthodontic appliances as treatment progresses
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care
• Monitor treatment progress and modify plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sterilization standards
• Collaborate with general dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program
• Valid state dental license and orthodontic certification
• Strong knowledge of modern orthodontic techniques and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to patient care

Preferred Skills & Attributes

• Experience with clear aligner therapy (e.g., Invisalign or similar systems)
• Comfort with digital orthodontic tools and practice management software
• Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
