Associate or Full Professor - Clinician Educator Track - Neonatology

About the role

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Neonatology & Newborn Services in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Qualifications

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics

Teaching responsibilities

• Clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows
• Formal lecture opportunities within the Division and Department

Clinical responsibilities

• Providing outstanding clinical care and productivity in program development
• Clinical care in the 100 bed Level IV NICU at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the 40 bed Level III NICU at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
• Outpatient and inpatient consultative services

Research or scholarship responsibilities

• Clinical or basic studies, dependent on the candidate's interests and independent support
• Evidence of scholarship is required for the Clinician-Educator track
