Associate or Consulting Associate/Investigations (Risk, Investigations & Analytics practice)
About the role
CRA advises clients on economic and financial matters pertaining to litigation and regulatory proceedings, and guides corporations through critical business strategy and performance-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Prepare client deliverables (reports, briefings, etc.) for multi-faceted investigations with guidance from case managers and senior staff;
- Research public records and social media and collect human intelligence in multiple jurisdictions;
- Coordinate with case teams on project deliverables, status and reporting deadlines;
- Deliver written and verbal briefings to case leaders and clients on research findings;
- Identify and develop resources useful for investigative research;
- Foster a collegial and entrepreneurial working environment that promotes professional growth and development;
- Assist in mentoring junior analysts, as required;
- Participate in practice, office and corporate initiatives (training, recruiting, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline, master's degree also desirable;
- Up to 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a consulting organization;
- Experience using investigative databases (e.g. WestLaw, LexisNexis, Factiva, Accurint, etc.), as well as experience working with a range of public record resources (e.g. civil and criminal proceedings, SEC filings, property records, bankruptcies, tax liens, news media, social media, corporate filings, regulatory filings and sanctions, etc.);
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and effective oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage multiple workstreams, be attentive to detail, and meet timely deadlines;
- Proven experience identifying adverse issues, evaluating sources, and determining the completeness and accuracy of public records;
- A high level of initiative and curiosity, a strong work ethic and dedication to quality.
Qualifications

- Professional certifications are beneficial but not required;

Pay
A good-faith estimate of the annual base salary range for this position is $95,500 - $115,000.
