ASSOCIATE OPTOMETRIST WANTED (FULL TIME OR PART TIME)

About the role

A busy 42 year-old very highly medically oriented private optometry practice in South Central Pennsylvania is seeking an optometric associate. The practice offers a range of services including medical optometry, specialty contact lens fitting, and urgent care referrals. The position can be either full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities

• Treatment and monitoring of patients using the latest technology
• Urgency care for patients referred by other local healthcare providers
• Fitting specialty contact lenses
• Participation in a team of well-trained dedicated technicians and opticians
• No weekend work required

Requirements

• Medical optometry experience preferred
• Specialty interests in oculoplastics, glaucoma, retinal disease, or pediatric optometry are welcome
• Experience with contact lenses and emergency care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree
• State licensure
• Excellent communication skills
