About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

• Work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.
• Operate under the professional autonomy to care for patients.
• Practice with full scope of optometric care predicated only on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor.
• Flexible scheduling options including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule.
• Utilize a fully furnished office with a full suite of OD equipment, including the latest digital eye examination technology called Clarifye.
• Access to the Daytona Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging System and full tech and pre-testing support.
• Automated online appointment booking and patient recall system.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current license to practice optometry in the state where the practice is located.
• Experience in providing comprehensive optometric care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in using medical software and digital imaging systems.

• Knowledge of optometric practices and procedures.
