About the role

As an Associate Optometrist within the Target Optical Subleasing practice, you will work alongside a Subleasing Doctor to provide comprehensive eye care services to patients. Your responsibilities include diagnosing visual conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and performing routine eye exams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various visual conditions
• Prescribe corrective lenses and other optical devices
• Perform routine eye exams and screenings
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice optometry in Louisiana
• Experience in providing comprehensive eye care services
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in using medical terminology and diagnostic tools

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
• Strong knowledge of ocular diseases and disorders
• Ability to manage a busy clinic and maintain patient records
• Passing scores on relevant board examinations
