The Center for Vision Development is seeking a responsive recruiter to join our team. Responsibilities
As a responsive recruiter at The Center for Vision Development, you will:
- Begin structured training in vision therapy alongside active patient care
- Provide full scope optometry, including primary care, vision therapy evaluations, progress evaluations, and myopia management
- Build a strong foundation in vision therapy while applying it in real time within patient care
- Collaborate closely with vision therapists to guide patient outcomes and ensure consistency of care
- Provide comprehensive care with an emphasis on functional vision and long term success
- Build meaningful relationships with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Communicate clearly and effectively to establish trust and connection
- Spend intentional, quality time with patients to truly understand their needs and progress
- Continue learning and growing within a vision therapy focused practice
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and patient centered team environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree or be a 4th year optometry student
- Be licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
- Lovely connect with people of all ages and backgrounds
- Be a strong communicator who builds trust quickly and values relationships
- Take pride in spending meaningful time with patients and truly getting to know them
- Be excited to learn and grow within a vision therapy focused practice
- Be a team player who values a positive, supportive, and patient centered environment
Qualifications
