Associate Optician

About the role

Order, dispense, repair and adjust eye wear and contact lenses. Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with the selection of eye wear.

Responsibilities

• Train to acquire or already competently command entry level optical and retail patient service skills necessary to order, dispense, and execute basic repairs and adjustments of eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Must have excellent interpersonal/human relations and sales skills.
• Knowledge of contact lens procedures and care, current brands and solutions and knowledge of eye wear fitting, styles, and materials is preferred.
• Previous experience in optical or contact lens field is preferred.
• Will provide training and education of required skills.

Requirements

• A high school graduate is preferred.
• Basic Life Support Certification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contact lens procedures and care, current brands and solutions and knowledge of eye wear fitting, styles, and materials is preferred.
• Previous experience in optical or contact lens field is preferred.

Pay

$16.50 - $26.50 per hour
