ASSOCIATE NURSE MGR-FLOAT POOL

About the Role

The Associate Nurse Manager has responsibilities for a functional area of patient services and must collaborate with others to achieve strategic objectives for system, hospital, and unit. Assists in communication of system, hospital, division and unit vision and goals, develops a team of highly skilled staff, and ensures cost effective and efficient use of resources for optimum outcomes. Practice is consistent with applicable licensing board, regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The Associate Nurse Manager, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, directs and oversees the functions of the patient care team.

Responsibilities

• Assists in communication of system, hospital, division and unit vision and goals
• Develops a team of highly skilled staff
• Ensures cost effective and efficient use of resources for optimum outcomes
• Directs and oversees the functions of the patient care team under the direction of the Nurse Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
• Valid Ohio RN License
• Current CPR certification
• ACLS and PALS required or must obtain within one year from date in position
• 1 - 3 years of job-related experience with progressive leadership experience
• Minimum 2 years experience as an RN in, at minimum, an Advanced Care (step down) setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Critical care experience

Schedule

Full-time, 12:00pm-10:00pm, 80 hours per pay period.
