Job Description
The Associate DCM is responsible to contribute to the strategic development of the bank's Debt Capital Markets Originations business in the U.S.A., ensuring underwriting positions and swap exposures are within approved limits, while maintaining and enhancing the bank's profile and market share.
Depth & Scope
- Ensures that underwriting positions and swap exposures are within approved limits
- Consults closely with the bank’s other operations in Canada, Europe, Asia Pacific and the U.S. to assist in meeting the firm’s objectives
- Observes strict adherence personally and at a desk level to the firm's procedures
- Understands and complies with TD Securities (USA) Policies, regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring that transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Provides expert knowledge on market data, economic information and key industry developments as well as regulatory Standards, to assist in maximizing profitability through sound business decisions
- Develops and maintains contacts with market participants and as a key syndicate contact is responsible for supplying market information to partners with the TD global DCM group
- Communicates bank policy information and recommends strategies between your product head and relevant DCM personnel
- Demonstrates governance, control and risk management behaviors in alignment with TD policies and practices
Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics
Series 7 and 63
+ Years of related experience
Must be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skills
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities
