About the role

The New Logo Account Executive plays a crucial part in ServiceNow's go-to-market strategy, focusing on identifying and converting new business opportunities into customers. This role requires strategic territory planning, developing effective account plans, and fostering strong relationships with partners and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically navigate a targeted set of prospective accounts to close initial opportunities and convert prospects into customers.
  • Create and execute a territory plan to maximize new revenue growth.
  • Leverage analytics, case studies, and market intelligence to craft target account strategies.
  • Apply strategies and collaborate with the extended sales team and partner ecosystem to sell the value and long-term ROI of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Lead the transition of newly acquired accounts to the Account Management team post-sale.
  • Execute on new business revenue goals for the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of new logo sales experience in IT Service Management, HR, Security Operations, Customer Service, IT Operations Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business at new accounts.
  • Experience in territory strategy, planning, and sales execution with measurable wins.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to inspire and lead a matrix team.
  • Ability to understand broad business IT needs and break down complex sales processes.
  • Perseverance, resilience, and creativity to find new paths to open doors and engage prospects.
  • Track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales quotas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of quota-carrying, technology solution-based direct sales experience.
  • Experience selling a variety of SaaS solutions across all lines of business.
  • Experience in keeping accurate forecasts and creating strategies that maximize success.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
