Associate, Middle or Sr Liquefied Natural Gas Technician

Dominion Energy is committed to providing reliable, affordable, and increasingly clean energy that powers our customers every day. The Greensville Power Station is seeking highly motivated Associate, mid‑level, or Senior Liquefied Natural Gas Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate liquefied natural gas plant equipment and facilities, including engine‑driven and reciprocating natural gas compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, filters, instrumentation and controls, piping, boilers, valves, storage tanks, auxiliary generators, and heaters.
• Perform installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of computer systems and microprocessor‑based controls.
• Install, calibrate, perform preventive maintenance, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, electronic, air‑monitoring equipment, and air‑monitoring instruments.
• Test, repair, and maintain regulatory and measurement equipment.

Requirements

• Associate LNG Technician: 0–2 years related plant operating and maintenance experience.
• LNG Technician: At least 3 years related plant operating and maintenance experience.
• Senior LNG Technician: At least 5 years related plant operating and maintenance experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Computer skills sufficient for operating, programming, and auditing databases and other applications.

Education

Preferred: Associate degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted.

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Working Conditions

• Operating machinery 76–100% of the time; up to 25% office work.
• Up to 25% travel (typically less than 20%).
• Safety‑sensitive position subject to DOT random drug testing.
• Work around rotating machinery, high‑pressure equipment, high‑voltage hazards, flammable gases and liquids.
• Climbing and working above ground at heights up to 150 ft.
• Exposure to outside environmental conditions in all seasons.

Test Description
